Released Anger were formed in November 2004 by ex-members of Crucifier, Skullcrusher and Deny. The line-up was Ntinos Zacharis (vocals - Skullcrusher) , Dimitris Harisis and John Anagnostou (Guitars and Backing Vocals - Crucifier) and Thanos Ziogas (Drums - Deny).

Without a bass player in the beginning, the band started writing new songs. After four months, guest bass player Nikos Psarogiannis (Crucifier guitarist) joined the band and their first gig followed.

At the end of June, the band started the recordings of their first mini-CD "Violent Instincts", at the Baseline Studios. The recordings lasted a total of 25 hours and ended at the beginning of July. The CD contained five tracks of thrash metal, produced by John Mcris, cover by Alexandros Stsiegkiel, outlay by Vaggelis "Aithiopas" Zikidis and the band photos were taken by Foteini Anagnostou.

In October, Kostas Pavlidis joined the band as a permamnent bass player. On November 20th, the band had its second gig. The show was recorded and some parts were used for the music video "Released Anger" (you can download it in the media section). After the show, Thanos Ziogas left the band and was immediately replaced by Stelios Stavropoulos (ex-Breakout drummer).

With this line-up, the band continues to play gigs to promote their mini-CD, while composing new songs for their upcoming debut full-length album.
